Rusty Golfer Returns to the Game to Hit a Hole in One
Reineke Ford Lincoln of Findlay is a tremendous supporter in the community. They have sponsored the golf tournament to raise money for Humane Society Maxwell Meyer Memorial Golf Outing for a number of years. This year Reineke Ford Lincoln of Findlay offered an F-150 2 year lease.
The tournament was held again at Sycamore Springs Golf Club on September 25th. It was a beautiful fall day. Eric Stacy was golfing in the event as he has done for years. His oldest son is on the board for the Humane Society, so he plays every year.
Eric’s team was his younger son Forrest, sister Cheryl and friend Theresa. Eric’s oldest son golfed with some employees and customers, so it was a family affair. Stacy said that this was his first-time golfing in 3 years, so he was just in it for the fun with family. I asked how he was hitting the ball that day? He said he was surprised that he was really swinging well.
It was towards the end of the day when they got to the Hole In One hole. They were looking at the sign and dreaming of getting a hole in one for the 2 year lease of an F-150 truck. Eric hit last, he said that he hit a good ball and it hit the green about a foot and a half past the pin. It spun back and rolled into the hole! They all were cheering and shouting. When they went to the hole to double check and sure enough it was in the hole!
The day was a total win for the entire family, beyond Eric winning the Truck from Reineke Ford Lincoln of Findlay, his son’s team won first place in the overall tournament. Not a bad day for the Stacy family!
