Hole in One Winner

Incredible Hole-In-One Shines at NBHS Project Graduation

In a stunning turn of events at the NBHS Project Graduation golf tournament, Angela Zwinggi made an unforgettable mark on the Landa Park Golf Course in New Braunfels, Texas. Under the bright Texas sun, she achieved what every golfer dreams of—a perfect hole-in-one. This remarkable feat unfolded on the challenging 15th hole, a daunting 190-yard par 3 that was sponsored by Bluebonnet Motors.

Armed with her trusty driver, Angela approached the tee with determination. As she swung, the crisp sound of the club meeting the ball resonated across the course. The ball soared high, catching the attention of spectators and fellow golfers alike. It landed just short of the green, took a gentle bounce, and began its steady roll toward the pin. The collective breath of the crowd was held as the ball inched closer, finally disappearing into the cup with a satisfying clink. A moment of stunned silence was quickly followed by a wave of cheers and applause. Angela had done it—a hole-in-one!

This achievement was made even more impressive by the fact that Angela typically only plays up to hole 9 due to her busy schedule. With work commitments often forcing her to abandon her rounds as dusk falls, this hole-in-one was a testament to her skill and perseverance. Despite limited practice on the back nine, Angela’s exceptional shot will be remembered for years to come.

But the excitement didn’t stop there. To the delight of everyone present, Angela was awarded a brand-new Ford F-150, courtesy of Bluebonnet Motors. As Angela retrieved her ball from the hole, her and her team celebrated not just a great round of golf, but a day of unforgettable memories.

The NBHS Project Graduation event is always a highlight of the community’s calendar, but this year’s tournament will be particularly hard to top. Angela’s incredible hole-in-one added an extra layer of excitement to an already festive day, ensuring that this year’s event will be talked about long after the last putt was sunk. From the thrill of the game to the joy of winning a new truck, this day at Landa Park Golf Course was one for the history books.
