A Hole-in-One to Remember at the Williams G. Rose Memorial Golf Tournament
The Williams G. Rose Memorial Golf Tournament at Michipicoten Golf Course in Wawa, Ontario was filled with excitement, but it was local golfer Timothy who made the day truly unforgettable with a remarkable hole-in-one.
The tournament, sponsored by Northern Lights Ford, attracted participants from across the region, all competing in support of a great cause. Funds raised during the event benefit a bursary for students from both M.H.S. and École St. Joseph who plan to further their education in fields related to law enforcement.
Timothy was the first player to tee off on Hole 6, a challenging par-3. Using his 7-wood, he made a clean shot that bounced a few times before landing on the green and rolling straight into the hole for a hole-in-one.
The group erupted in excitement and celebrated the rare achievement. Making the hole in one even more exciting, it was for the grand prize — a 2024 Ford Edge!
Timothy’s hole-in-one not only created an unforgettable moment on the course, but it also underscored the community spirit of the event, with all proceeds supporting local students pursuing careers in law enforcement.
